Where O Where has my little blog gone?

Is the month of September almost over already??

Wow, where does the time go? It seems every time I have wanted to sit down and blog my little heart away, something else came up. So where have I been?

First and foremost, I was cleaning, packing, and moving. Downsizing from a 4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Single Family Home into a 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Apt was ..challenging to say the least. I'm very happy to have gotten through it alive haha. Next of course there was settling into our new cozy home. Another challenge, but very satisfying to have accomplished it! There are some things I have left to finesse around here, but over all, it's coming along nicely :D. In between all of this, the only thing keep me from going bonkers, was knowing I had my Pyrex and Sewing areas to set up!

I have pretty much let go of the Pyrex Trading game ..for now. Sad ..I know.  This tiny place is already exploding Vintage Pyrex, so more would not be a great idea. I was also informed that the front office personnel takes no responsibility for any packages they receive for me. No notice, no calls, nothing, and I felt it was best to cut back. For the volume of packages I received, it would be insane for me to go down there every other day and haul packages up to my second floor apartment. I should mention, I'm a stay at home Moma of a 2yr old -SamyCakes -who has just entered his "terrible-twos" stage :P. However, I will be opening my Etsy Shop soon and continue selling off my lovely extra pieces. It'll take a bit longer to get the new inventory photographed and up, but I'll be sure to announce it ;D.

As for my sewing ventures, that's one thing I'd like to concentrate on now. I was lucky enough to be part of the 8th Vintage Sheet Swap from a flickr group called Vintage Sheet Patchwork Swap this past month! -It was hosted by Colleena Mareena, an amazing person to know! Oh btw, this is the part where I'm supposed to mention how my fantastic Hunibee helped me cut these up :D!! 80 VS FQ's are so much work to prepare, and lucky for me Huni was sweet enough to jump right in!

MOVING :D

Hi everyone!
It's been such a long time since my last post! I really do miss it!!
SO, it's true. We have recently decided to move. So many things have happened leading us to this decision. And though we love where we are, it's all for the best. I'm really looking forward to our new bright and happy future! I have a long month ahead of me. Lots and lots of packing, cleaning, setting up in our new home etc etc. UGH (I hate moving)!! BUT, the good news is we'll be setup for at least another three years once we finally get everything organized.
My shop will re-open in July, and all my current projects, trades & swaps will be postponed till then also.
Do feel free to contact me via email or flickr, if you have any questions or concerns. I'll do my best to reply to each and every one of you. I'll also be keeping up with my flickr account as best I can during all this -because I love seeing all those new photos & well frankly- I love you guys!!

WOW ..Flickr Explore!

Yesterday happened to pretty eventful for me. The most memorable part of yesterday? I found out from a great flickr buddy, I had made Flickrs' EXPLORE! How cool is that?! I was so excited, I have since been glued to my computer screen in awe! My photo is surround by the most gorgeous photographs. I had to wonder how I even made it. I must confess, even though I'm not too familiar with Explore, I had heard of it. You should see some of the photographs posted there daily. Amazing! Can I show you my photograph?

...good, cuz I was going to share it with you anyway ;D

Vintage Pyrex Friendship Cinderella Set on EXPLORE!

YUP, Pyrex! Who knew?! I never thought I'd love this photo as much I do today! I happened to be updating my flickr buddy icon, blogger button etc etc, and wanted to put up a another photo of my Friendship set. So I chose this one. Mainly because - I <3 Friendship Pyrex! It's my absolute favorite Pyrex pattern. Who knew this would chosen?

Now it may not be a big deal to alot you, but it's a huge deal to me. Talk about a koolaid smile! :B 

Then I come to find out another one of my photos had been chosen last year in December as well. YAY!

Samy's Bliss Quilt on In Color Order?! YAY!

So here I am. Finally a moment of peace while Samy naps :p. As I was reading through the blogs I follow  (It's been quite a long time since I've last logged in), I get to In Color Order, and start to scroll through all the posts. And what should I come upon, but Samy's Bliss Quilt featured on one of Jeni's Favorite Picks Post on the 5th of April!! WOW!! How Very Sweet of her to include me! I only just now saw it :B.

I blogged about it, but never thought it to be a Jeni fave. How sweet, EEE! I love that girl ;D! If you didn't get a chance to see it, here it is..
