Gi-normous Pyrex Trade

Ok, so if any of you here follow me on Flickr, you'll know I had posted a grip of Pyrex up for trade. Deciding to get rid of pieces I couldn't sell online or really wanted, and going for the ones I completely love. Half way through it all I thought -'What have I got myself into??!!' WELL, it was totally overwhelming & stressful, but the end results are really turning out to be well worth the trouble! I think my photographs say it all ;D Ready?? Me too! Here we go...

Vintage Pyrex Unmarked Opal 402??

This piece, I'm still unsure of whether it's actually Pyrex or not. It has a very tiny 16A(i think) near the rim and that's it. no circle, no identification of any kind. But it's milk glass and I love it :)!

Red Velvet Cake

Have I ever told anyone how much I love Red Velvet Cake? ...mmm maybe :) Have I ever told you about my favorite kind of red velvet cake? ...um, not so much! I bet it's not what your thinking :B! Want to take a look? I thought you might, let me show you...

It's my Petunia Pickle Bottom Red Velvet Cake Society Satchel! Isn't it gorgeous?? It's not a red velvet cake per se, which I DO love, but it'll work. You would not believe the amount of complements flying at me every time I'm out running errands. What can I say? It IS absolutely scrumptious ;D. This is my everyday diaper bag folks. It's beautifully made as well (this is NOT a sales pitch, I just LOVE this bag :D)! Let me show you...

Touchably Soft, Vibrant, ...Stunning!!

It doesn't have to be just a diaper either. I plan on carrying this baby for many years to come. Previously, I was strictly a Coach girl, but now... well, Petunia Pickle Bottom has stolen my heart! Use it as a shopper, camera bag, whatever you can think of. It has TONS of storage!

NEwho, I hope I'm lucky enough to have another bag in the near future ;D

Pineapple Anyone?

Pyrex Pineapple that is ;D! Lucky enough to snag a fairly rare unopened Vintage Pyrex Pineapple Party Chip &  Dip Set from a flickr buddy, I have been going back and forth on whether I should open it or not. It took a couple of days, and finally decided to OPEN it! YAY! SO, because this is the first ever unopened piece for me, I also decided to photograph such a momentous occasion ;D. Bare with me as this is going to be a bit long, but completely worth it. Let's get started!

 This is how she arrived...

:B (that was me bitting my lower lip) I could feel the excitement building up hehe! I literally had to pace myself. I was SO ready to rip into that box, and expose the precious treasure I had been longing for inside. But NO! Restraint would be alot more gratifying in this case.

OOoooweeee!!

The rush was crazy great! Seeing that little brass dip bowl bracket ...EEE!! The next stages were even more exciting as I began to pull her out of its' years of hibernation...

Ahhhhhhh!!!

Completely and utterly IN LOVE!! Bright, Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous!!

Next? A photo session of course! My kitchen had terrible lighting, so I had to move upstairs. Are you ready? Me too!

The graduation of the colors is amazing don't you think? The small bowl goes from a light lemon to a butter yellow, and the bottom bowl goes from that buttery darkish yellow to a rich reddish orange. Take a look of them sitting side by side...

Beautiful! I just don't know how else to describe it.

I thought it would match my bright yellow 300 set, but this is clearly much more vibrant. Thanks everyone for sharing this with me! One more look at this set? Yes, I think so too...
